Soundview Park

Soundview Park is the the soundfront jewel of Southern Shores. Featuring over 300 feet of water frontage, the park offers seating for sunset viewing, a boat launching platform for kayaks, plus picnic tables, a bocce court and a playground, all shaded by the mature trees Southern Shores is known for. There is parking available, which requires a permit from the SSCA. There are also kayak racks available for annual lease. Soundview Park is located on North Dogwood Trail, between numbers 275 and 283.

Sea Oats Park

Sea Oats Park is our central playground, loved by kids, parents and grandparents throughout the community. It's also where the pickleball courts are tucked away in the over two-acre parcel. Located where Sea Oats Trail and Hillcrest Drive intersect with Hickory Trail, the official address is 253 Sea Oats Trail. There is plenty of parking on a paved driveway (SSCA permit required), with a basketball half court with one hoop, children’s play area, soccer field, picnic tables and a portapotty. The pickleball courts are fenced and require Racquet Club membership and a reservation to access.

Sunset Overlook

This place keeps it simple. It's a beautiful spot overlooking the sound, where you can enjoy watching the sun set. There's a gravel parking lot, a deck with built-in bench seating and stairs down to a sandy beach. The address is 317 North Dogwood Trail. See more information and photos here.
