Circlepond.org is a community led volunteer group that seeks to restore the habitat of Circle Pond in Southern Shores. 

SSCA members are invited to participate in work parties to remove invasive plants as part of this effort.

Southern Shores is made up of a 4.2 mile area that spans from the Atlantic Ocean in the east, to the Currituck Sound and Ginguite Bay in the west. The year-round population is around 2,883 residents, and there are several commercial regions, along with parks with features for all ages.
