NEW SSCA Office Hours
The SSCA Office will be physically open for walk-in business on Friday's from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
Please be respectful of office staff when conducting face to face business at the office.


Monday, Tuesday and Thursday office support will be conducted remotely from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Phone messages into the office will be monitored and responded to in a timely manner. Membership applications / renewals for 2021 may be completed online with credit card payment or a paper copy may be printed and mailed to the office; all decals and passes will be returned via USPS mail. The office mailing address and phone number may be found by clicking the "How to contact the SSCA" tab on the right side of the screen.


Membership Eligibility

To be eligible to join the Southern Shores Civic Association you must either be a resident, own property, or be a long term renter of property in the Town of Southern Shores.  Each property within Southern Shores is entitled to only one membership in the SSCA (and one vote) regardless of the number of owners of a property. 


About Southern Shores

Southern Shores is made up of a 4.2 mile area that spans from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Currituck Sound and Ginguite Bay in the west. The year round population is around 2,883 residents, and there are several commercial regions, along with parks with features for all ages.
