Beach Toys Needed!

The SSCA is debuting our new Sand Toy Box - like a Little Free Library for beach toys! We need YOUR help filling it with gently used sand toys, so bring any extra sand toys you might have to the Block Party or drop them off any time you are nearby the Hillcrest Beach Access. We hope this new lending toy box will help reduce plastic toy waste and allow everyone to have some fun on the beach!

A Real Life Fire Truck

The Southern Shores Fire Department will be there with their fire truck! The SSCA, Town of Southern Shores and Southern Shores Police will there to chat and share useful information with all our residents and property owners.

Chairs and Parking

A limited number of beach chairs will be available to use, courtesy of Just For The Beach Rentals. but please bring a chair if you can so we make sure we have enough. There will be designated Bike and Handicapped Parking at Hillcrest. All others, please use the side streets near Hillcrest, just be sure all four tires are off the pavement, and don't block any driveways. Walking, biking and carpooling are greatly encouraged!
